1 16oz pkg of favorite polish/kielbasa sausage 1 14-16oz can sauerkraut, undrained 1 tbsp olive oil 4 tbsp bavarian sweet mustard 1/2 c. finely sliced green onions salt and pepper to taste
Cut entire package of sausage into somewhat thin slices, appx. 1/4 inch thick. In a cooking pan over medium high heat, heat throughly until hot. Add olive oil, onion, and sausage to pan. Stir frequently. Add salt and pepper. Cook/heat sausage mixture until browned, and browned bits on bottom of pan. Add can of sauerkraut, juice and all to pan. Turn heat down to medium low, and mix sauerkraut into sausage mixture. Add sweet mustard and mix. Let simmer remaining time or turn to low until ready to serve. Makes appx 6 helpings.
