Summer Fruit Sauce

Introduction

This sauce is a rich red color and can be enjoyed alone or as a topping for yogurt or hot cereal. I also like it as a sweet topping for pancakes! This sauce is a rich red color and can be enjoyed alone or as a topping for yogurt or hot cereal. I also like it as a sweet topping for pancakes!

Ingredients

cinnamon stick or 1/2 teaspoon of powdered cinnamon (optional)

Directions

Wash and cut up peaches and plums. Put all ingredients into a heavy saucepan with the water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for about ten minutes stirring often. Remove cinnamon stick if using.
