Introduction

Basic fresh salsa. Use more or less jalapeno depending on how hot you want it. Or you can replace the jalapeno with a milder chili like a poblano. Basic fresh salsa. Use more or less jalapeno depending on how hot you want it. Or you can replace the jalapeno with a milder chili like a poblano.

Ingredients

    2 medium tomatoes, diced
    1 jalapeno, minced (& seeded if desired)
    2 Tbsp onion, diced
    2 Tbsp cilantro, chopped
    1/2 tsp lime juice
    1/4 tsp garlic powder
    dash salt

Directions

Combine all ingredients in a small bowl. Use immediately or store in fridge.

Makes about 2 cups (depending on size of tomatoes). 1 serving is 2 Tbsp.
