Sausage Stuffed Pizza

Ingredients

    Dough:
    1 1/2 cups water
    1 tsp sugar
    1 Tbsp yeast
    1 Tbsp Olive Oil
    2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
    1 1/4 cups whole wheat flour
    1 1/2 tsp salt

    Filling:
    1 pound Italian sausage
    1 pound smoked sausage
    2 medium onions
    1 medium to large red bell pepper
    1 cup (114 grams) part skim Mozza cheese
    1/2 cup (58 grams) part skim Cheddar cheese
    Scramble fry sausage til no pink remains. Add chopped onion, & cook. Stir in red pepper and cheeses. Spoon onto crusts, top with reserved dough. Bake at 500 F for about 15 minutes.

Directions

Mix dough, divide in quarters. Roll or pat each into a 12" circle, place 2 on 12" pizza pans, reserve other 2 for topping each pizza.

Scramble fry sausage til no pink remains. Drain. Add chopped onion, & cook. Stir in red pepper and cheeses. Spoon onto crusts, top with reserved dough. Bake at 500 F for about 15 minutes.
