Good for you Muffins

Number of Servings: 16

Ingredients

    1 c. whole wheat flour
    1/2 c. wheat bran
    2 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. baking soda
    dash of cinnamon
    2 tbs brown sugar


    1 c. low fat yogurt
    1 c. oats
    1 egg + 2 egg whites
    1/2 c. Apple sauce
    1 tsb oil
    1 tsp vanilla

    while stirring add:
    1/2 c. raisins
    or
    1 diced apple
    or
    1 mashed banana
    or
    1/2 c. nuts

    recipe is calculated for 1/4 c.raisins and 1/4 c. almonds, adjust as desired.

Directions

Mix first set of ingredients.
Mix 2nd set in seperate bowl.
Combine wet and dry only until flour disperses
while stirring add fruit.

Bake in pan or greased tins at 350 degrees until brown and smelling good! 15-20 mins
