My first week using the meal planneer rice was on the menu. Yuk. Then i remembered how my mom made it for breakfast. Used brown rice, light butter, and mixed in the almonds on my menu. Great.
And to think I had actually forgotten about this. My Grandma used to give us kids rice in milk, with cinnamon and sugar quite opten and I loved it. Just reading this recipe was a warm memory for me. I will have to do this for my Grandkids.
Me too!! Awww such a sweet memory! Whenever my mom made dinner and had left over rice, we always had this for a treat afterwards. We always put a dash of vanilla too. It's so delicious!! Thanks for sharing!
