Introduction

My mom used to make this for me when I was a kid. It's easy and very filling!

Ingredients

    3 cups cooked rice
    4 tbsp light butter
    1/4 cup sugar
    2 tsp ground cinnamon

Directions

Cook 1 cup of rice in 2 cups of boiling water (yields 3 cups of cooked rice) according to package instructions. I did not use instant in my recipe.

Add butter, sugar, and cinnamon. Stir. Add more butter, sugar, or cinnamon if you want.

Serve immediately!

  • Me too!! Awww such a sweet memory! Whenever my mom made dinner and had left over rice, we always had this for a treat afterwards. We always put a dash of vanilla too. It's so delicious!! Thanks for sharing! - 4/27/10
