THIS IS A GREAT SALAD TO HAVE AT LUNCH OR DINNER. IT HAS A LITTLE OF EVERYTHING IN IT (PROTINE, FRUIT, AND VEGGIES)*There really is not set amount of the ingredients that go into this salad. It is all based upon personal preference.

Number of Servings: 1
Ingredients
-
Romaine Lettuce
Ocean Spray, Craisins Original Sweetened Dried Cranberries
Walnuts, (chopped)
Pears halves ( I suggest one half)
Balsamic Basil Vinaigrette Salad Dressing, 2 Tbsp
Chicken Breast (strips)
Directions
This is really simple to make.
First mix the craisins, walnuts, and balsamic together with romaine lettuce. Then lay the pear half on top.(about 5 min to cut the lettuce and toss the salad
Next, prepare the chicken however you prefer it cooked. I suggest either grilled or brolied(it should be cooked for about 10 min). After it has cooked all the way through, cut into strips and place on top on the salad

This is almost a whole days worth of calories, I suggest more lettuce and unsweetened craisins. Less of the other ingredients as well but the combo is good. - 9/8/08

well like i said, its all about personal preference. all of those amounts were just guestimates. If you use everything either fresh and fat free (lean), it can actually be a great meal
