IntroductionI rediscovered how good Cream of Wheat is when I started feeding it to my infant daughter. The banana really adds flavor and eliminates the need for sugar or butter. Banana, fresh, .1/4 cup, mashed
Milk, nonfat, 3./4 cup
Water, tap, 3/4 cup (8 fl oz
Cinnamon, ground, 1 tsp
Cream of Wheat Cereal (Without Salt), 3 tbsp
Add the cinnamon and cream of wheat. Whisk until blended.
Reduce heat to low. Cook an additional 2-3 minutes, depending on the type of cream of wheat (fast cooking, etc).

My 5 yr. old & I shared this 1 serving. It made two cereal bowl size portions. She loved it! To make it a little more special I added a little butter & drizzled coffee mate italian sweet cream on top. I passed on that to save the extra calories. She asked for it again tomorrow!
