Ingredients

    4 CUPS (2 CANS) FAT FREE CHICKEN BROTH
    1/2 DICED ONION (OPTIONAL)
    1PKG FROZEN HAS BROWN POTATOES (PLAIN OR O'BRIEN STYLE)
    2 TBS ALL PURPOSE FLOUR
    2 TBS UNSALTED BUTTER

Directions

BRING BROTH AND POTATOES TO A BOIL.
REDUCE HEAT TO LOW, COVER AND COOK 15 MINUTES OR UNTIL POTATOES ARE DONE.
IN SMALL SAUTE PAN MELT BUTTER, ADD FLOUR AND COOK 2 MINUTES.
ADD 1 CUP WATER, MIX WELL AND ADD TO POTATOES, STIRRING UNTIL THICKENED.
GARNISH WITH CHIVES, CHEESE, PARSLEY, OR BACON.
MAKES 8 1CUP SERVINGS.
