Brown Rice Ole

Introduction

Try this if you would like to spice up your day. Try this if you would like to spice up your day.
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1.5 Lb Ground Beef Lean
    4 Cup Chopped Bell Peppers (3)
    1.25 Cup Chopped Onion (1 med)
    1 Tbl Garlic Powder
    1 Tbl Curry Powder
    1 Tbl Paprika
    1.75 Cup Water
    2 Cup Thick and Chunky Salsa Med
    2 Cup Instant Brown Rice

Directions

In large skillet Brown Beef, drain grease. Add Bell Peppers and Onion cook for approximately 10 min. or until Bell peppers are slightly tender. Remove beef mixture and set aside. Using same skillet Add water and Salsa, bring to a boil add Brown rice bring to a boil, cover and simmer for approx 5 min. Combine the beef and rice mix well.

Makes 8 well packed servings.

    Thank you. I have to admit I think I needed to add a bit more bite to it. Last night when I tried it There didn't seem to be any.
