Stuffed Tomatoes

Ingredients

    6 large tomatoes
    2 cups sliced mushrooms cut into small pieces
    1 cup shredded cheese of your choice
    6 slices bacon
    1 clove garlic crushed
    3 slices of 100% whole wheat bread cut into small cubes

Directions

preheat the oven at 350F
cook bacon until crisp
while bacon is cooking, cut off the tops pf the tomatoes and scoop out the insides and place into a bowl
drain the "guts" of the tomatoes, add the diced up mushrooms, the cubed bread, the crushed garlic, and cut the bacon into small pieces
Mix together.

on a cookie tray, place a piece of wax paper (long enough to cover the bottom of the pan

place the tomatoes on the cookie tray

after mixing all the ingredients together, fill the tomatoes to the top and then some.

Place in the oven and bake for 20-25 minutes until all the ingredients are warmed through.
