Cold Cantaloupe Soup

Introduction

A delicious and delightful summer cooler, or appetizer. (I usually serve it in a cocktail glass.) A delicious and delightful summer cooler, or appetizer. (I usually serve it in a cocktail glass.)
Number of Servings: 16

Ingredients

    2 large cantaloupes
    1/4 cup sugar
    1/4 cup dry sherry
    1/2 cup orange juice

Directions

Cut melon in large chunks and blend all ingredients until smooth. Depending upon the size of blender container, it will probably take several groups. Just mix them all together in a large container. Cool before serving, if possible. Makes approximately 1 gallon (64 cups).
