Ingredients

    * 2 pounds ground beef
    * 1 large onion, diced
    * 1 green bell pepper, diced
    * 2 (15 ounce) cans kidney beans, drained
    * 1 (6 fluid ounce) can tomato juice
    * 1 (14.5 ounce) can tomato sauce
    * 1 (28 ounce) can peeled and diced tomatoes with juice
    * 1/2 cup canned pumpkin puree
    * 1 tablespoon pumpkin pie spice
    * 1 tablespoon chili powder
    * 1/4 cup white sugar

Directions

In a large pot over medium heat, cook turkey until brown; drain.

Add meat to crock pot. Add onion, bell pepper, tomato juice, and tomato sauce, and spices. Cook on low 6-7 hours, or on high 4-5 hours. 30 mins before serving, stir in beans.

Serve with a dollop of light sour cream sprinkled with pumpkin pie spice!

    Super tasty, and perfect for fall! I substituted soy crumbles for the beef, but it was still delish. I highly recommend it for autumn. - 10/1/08
