Introduction

I changed the original recipe a bit to please our own tastes and to make it more diet friendly. You may like to use even more diet friendly ingredients to bring down the calorie count even more. Ingredients

    1 can Cream of Chicken condensed soup
    1/2 cup lite sour cream
    2 cups diced, cooked chicken breast
    16 oz pkg. frozen peas and carrots, thawed
    1 cup shredded cheese (I use cheddar)
    1 cup diced potato, cooked
    1 cup Heart Smart Bisquick Baking Mix
    1/4 cup lite sour cream
    3 Tablespoons 2% milk

Directions

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Mix together the soup, 1/2 cup of the sour cream, the diced chicken, the cheese, and the potato.
Pour into an 8" square baking dish.
Mix together the baking mix, the remaining 1/4 cup sour cream and the milk. Stir until a stiff dough forms. Drop 6 heaping tablespoons of the dough over the mixture in the baking dish.
Bake for 35 to 40 minutes, or until the mixture is bubbly and the biscuits are browned.
