1 Â¼ cups all-purpose flour
1 Â¼ cups whole-wheat flour
1 Â¼ cups cornmeal
1 Â¼ cups old-fashioned rolled oats
Â½ cup toasted wheat germ
Â½ cup packed light brown sugar
1 tablespoon baking powder
Â¾ cup natural peanut butter
1 cup plus 1 tablespoon water
Â¼ cup dried parsley
1 large egg (separated)
Preheat oven to 350o F. Grease 2 large baking sheets. Scoop dough out using a Tablespoon. Flatten slightly with a cookie press or bottom of greased glass.
Whisk egg white and 1 tablespoon water. Brush biscuits with egg wash and bake until tops are golden brown, about 35 minutes.
Keep in an airtight container at room temperature for 1 month.
