Introduction

A delicious moist meatloaf that is healthy. Instead of using breadcrumbs I used oatmeal so those who are gluten sensitive/ intolerant can use certified gluten free oatmeal. Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 lb Lean Ground Beef
    1/2 cup Quick Oatmeal
    2 medium eggs
    3 tbs Tomato Sauce
    1 Tbs Dry Basil
    1 Garlic Clove, Minced
    1 tsp Mrs. Dash Onion and Herbs Spice (suggested)
    or
    1/2 tsp Onion Powder
    1/4 tsp Sea Salt
    2 Tbs Dried Chives
    1/2 cup Tomato Sauce

Directions

Mix well all ingredients together except for the 1/2 cup of tomato sauce.
Form 'dough' into a loaf shape and place in a meatloaf pan or a bread pan. Pour 1/2 cup of tomato sauce over the loaf .
Bake for 1 hour to 1.25 hours at 350 degrees (until meat thermometer registers 180 degrees)
Let stand for 15 minutes before serving.
