Peanut Butter Cookies

Introduction

My Great Grandma Boone's prize winning, mouth watering, melt-in-your-mouth, peanut butter cookies. My Great Grandma Boone's prize winning, mouth watering, melt-in-your-mouth, peanut butter cookies.
Number of Servings: 48

Ingredients

    1 cup Jif Creamy Peanut Butter
    1 cup Crisco Butter Flavored Shortening
    1 cup Granulated White Sugar
    1 cup Packed Brown Sugar
    1/2 tsp. Salt
    1 Tbsp. Dean's Fat Free Skim Milk
    1 tsp. Baking Soda
    2 Eggland's Best Eggs, Cage Free
    2 cups Sifted Flour
    1 10 oz. bag Kroger Peanut Butter baking Chips

Directions

Pre-heat oven to 325 degrees.

Combine Shortening, salt, peanut butter; mix well.

Add sugar; cream well.

Add eggs and milk; mix well.

Sift flour and baking soda; stir into mixture.

Stir in peanut butter chips.

Roll dough into balls and place onto lightly greased cookie sheet approximately 1 inch apart.

Press down onto balls, making a criss-cross pattern with a lightly floured fork.

Bake for 15-20 minutes.

Allow to cool on a wire rack and enjoy!

Makes approximately 48 cookies

You can reduce the fat and calories of these cookies by using lower fat/lower calorie ingredients, but you'll need to recalculate the recipe.
