Introduction

Number of Servings: 84

Ingredients

    1/2 c butter or margerine or combination
    1 c brown sugar
    1 c peanut butter
    2 eggs or egg substitute
    1.5 t vanilla extract
    .25 c applesauce
    1.5 c. whole wheat flour
    1 c oat bran
    .25 c (4T) flax seed meal
    2 t baking soda
    .25 c white flour

Directions

Mix butter with sugar and peanut butter. Add vanilla.

Combine flours, oat bran and flax seed meal and baking soda. Stir into peanut butter mixture.

Drop by teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheeet. Bake at 350 for 15-18 minutes. Cookies will not spread very much.

  • I made these tonight... They are ok and we will eat them, but just not the best I ever made. You also need to indicate when to add the applesauce, but I pretty much knew anyway. - 2/1/12
