Creamy Bayou Sauce

Introduction

A cream based sauce with shrimp, for eating over fish or pasta. A cream based sauce with shrimp, for eating over fish or pasta.
Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    2 T light butter
    1/2 cup chopped onion (or green onions)
    1/4 cup white wine
    1 T cornstarch
    1 T Emeril's Bayou Blast seasoning, or similar.
    1/2 cup 2% milk (nonfat is fine, too)
    7 oz cooked shrimp, peeled and tail-less

Directions

Sautee onion in butter. Mix cornstarch and wine, add to pan and stir until bubbly. Add Emeril's seasoning. Add shrimp and milk. Heat to warm through.
