African Beef Stew

Introduction

Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 lb. lean stewing beef, cut into small pieces
    1 cup chopped onion
    1 cup chopped celery
    1/2 cup chopped green pepper
    1/2 cup chopped red pepper
    1 cup diced zucchini
    1/4 cup brown sugar
    1/4 cup vinegar
    1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
    Salt & pepper to taste

Directions

1. In large saucepan, cook beef over medium high heat unil no longer pink
2. Add vegetables and cook until softened, about 5 minutes
3. Add brown sugar, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Bring to boil
4. Reduce heat and simmer 10 - 15 minutes

While cookin meat, you may have to add a little water if it sticks to the bottom of tour pot.

Serves 6
