1 head cabbage, shredded
1 rack baby back ribs, cut into single pieces (approximately 12 pieces)
1 large onion, sliced
Directions
brown ribs in dutch oven
add cabbage and onion
salt & pepper to taste
bring to "boil" and then simmer for approximately 1 hour or until cabbage and onion are tender.
you may want to add your favorite spices to taste

The cabbage and onions have a lot of water in them so I've never had a problem but there would be no problem in adding a little. I think I would even add a little vegetable broth instead of water, just for the extra flavor. It would eventually cook down so it's not soupy. Maybe a 1/2 cup or so.
