Chile glazed shrimp with noodles

Introduction

Number of Servings: 2

Ingredients

    1/4 cup of beef broth
    3 teaspoons dark sesame oil
    1 clove minced garlic
    1/2 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
    1/2 cup pea pods
    3 tablespoon low-sodium soy sauce
    1 tablespoon honey
    6.0z rice noodles

    Follow rice noodle package instructions to cook. While the rice noodles are cooking prepare the rest of the recipe:


    Heat a large nonstick skillet over medium-high heat. Add oil to pan. Add garlic and shrimp, and stir-fry 2 minutes. Add the pea pods, sesame oil, soy sauce, honey, chili pepper and garlic; stir-fry 3 minutes or until shrimp are done.

    Yield: 2 servings (serving size: 3/4 cup)

Directions

Follow the rice noodle package instructions to cook. While the rice noodles are cooking, prepare the rest of the recipe:

Serve on drained rice noodles.


Yield: 2 servings (serving size: 3/4 cup)

**Helpful Hints: To reduce cooking time, buy frozen deveined and shelled shrimp from your grocer.

Also I added 5 minutes cooking time because i like a thicker glaze.
