Beef Marinade

Introduction

This is good for shish-ka-bobs or other type of marinade. We always use it with beef but I think it would also taste good with chicken. This is good for shish-ka-bobs or other type of marinade. We always use it with beef but I think it would also taste good with chicken.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    1/4 cup red wine vinegar
    2 tbsp ketchup
    2 tbsp canola oil
    2 tbsp soy sauce
    1 tsp onion salt

    to taste:
    pepper
    garlic powder

Directions

mix all ingredients and pour over meat. Marinade for a few hours or overnight in the refridgerator turning every few hours then grill.

    Really liked this. I marinated beef in it, then made some more and simmered the chunks in it. DH just loved it, put some of the sauce on his potatoes, too. - 1/11/09

  • My family really loved this! I doubled it and substituted olive oil, onion powder and lite soy sauce. I marinated stew meat in it for about half an hour, then threw it in a skillet with onion slices, once meat was tender I served it over rice / noodles. VERY GOOD! - 7/9/09
