Bread, pita, whole-wheat, 1 pita, large (6-1/2" dia) (remove)
Tomato Paste, .125 cup (remove)
Onions, raw, 1 medium (2-1/2" dia) (remove)
Hard Salami, 4 slice (3-1/8" dia x 1/16" thick) (remove)
Mushrooms, fresh, .5 cup, pieces or slices (remove)
Cheddar or Colby Cheese, Low Fat, 1 cup, shredded (remove)
Garlic, 8 tsp (remove)
Green Peppers (bell peppers), 0.25 cup, chopped (remove)
*Pineapple, canned, .25 cup, crushed, sliced, or chunks (remove)
Dice onion & green pepper and sprinkle evenly over pita base.
Cut salami to desired sized pieces and spread over base evenly.
Slice mushrooms and spread evenly, and add cheese evenly and then pineapple.
Cook in moderate oven 180c for 10-15mins
Makes 6 slices, 2 slices = 1 serving

these were delicious. Our kids loved them. We made a little create your own station and everyone had a ball making their own pizzas. these were better than delivery! I used mozzeralla w/ skim milk instead and also added a bit of oregano garlic and onion powder to the tomato paste. awesome! - 10/13/08
