Meal Sized Veggie Meat Pasta

Introduction

Basic pasta with mushrooms, canned tomato sauce and veggie meat. The sodium is too high. I am going to try to find a low sodium pasta sauce. Basic pasta with mushrooms, canned tomato sauce and veggie meat. The sodium is too high. I am going to try to find a low sodium pasta sauce.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    * Mushrooms, fresh, 2 cup, pieces or slices
    * Onions, raw, 1 medium (2-1/2" dia)
    * Green Peppers, 1 cup, chopped
    * 680mL can Pasta Sauce

Directions

Saute onions in olive oil for 30 seconds, add mushrooms, then veggie meat and peppers. Saute all for another 4 minutes. Add canned pasta sauce and heat for 5-10 minutes.

In a separate pot boil whole wheat pasta as per package directions.
