Protein Truffles - version 2

Ingredients

    Protein powder
    oats
    cashew or peanut, or almond butter
    applesauce
    ground almonds (optional)
    cocoa powder

Directions

mix the protein powder, oats, and cashew butter together, adding applesauce as necessary to make the whole thing sticky - like cookie dough consistency.

drop the whole mess into a sandwich bag, and flatten out to a shape of the square - put in freezer.

When frozen, cut off the bag, and put block on cutting board - cut into 12 pieces.

drop pieces into a new baggie with the cocoa powder and Optional ground almonds until each piece is coated.

Keep frozen until you need a quick snack!
