Homemade Goulash

Introduction

Number of Servings: 5

Ingredients

    1 pound lean (93%) ground beef
    ¼ cup green bell pepper, chopped
    ½ cup onion, chopped
    2 red roma tomatoes, chopped
    2.5 cups Prego Traditional Pasta Sauce
    3 ¾ cups dry gnocci

Directions

Brown the ground beef and drain. Add the green bell pepper and onion. Cook until softened.

Cook the gnocci until just before it reaches al dente.

Meanwhile, add the tomatoes to the meat mixture and cook for a few minutes until a little softened. Add the pasta sauce and begin simmer.

Once the pasta is done, add it to the meat and sauce mixture. Allow to simmer for at least five minutes, or until the pasta has reached the final tenderness desired.

Makes 5 servings
