Introduction

Take the dry texture of blue cheese mix with the moist and delicate sea scallop and combine with the saltiness in bacon and you have a super low calorie and mouthwatering treat you didn't think could work. Take the dry texture of blue cheese mix with the moist and delicate sea scallop and combine with the saltiness in bacon and you have a super low calorie and mouthwatering treat you didn't think could work.
Number of Servings: 1

Ingredients

    1 Large Sea Scallop
    1 Slice of Bacon
    1 Teaspoon sized amount of crumbled blue cheese
    1 Toothpick

Directions

Makes 1 scallop

Wrap the bacon slice around the large sea scallop. Fasten the bacon to the scallop with the toothpick.

Sprinkle the blue cheese on the top of the scallop.

Bake at 400 for about 10 minutes. Scallops are cooked when the center is opalescent.

I use bought pre-cooked bacon because the slices are thinner and dominates the flavor less (Also 15 less calories per slice).
