Sweet Corn Chowder

Ingredients

    1 package corn soup mix (I use Maggi, but Knorr or similar will work) (79g unprepared) - Any package of dried soup corn mix will work, but calories may vary a bit.
    1 12 oz. can whole kernel sweet corn, drained and rinsed
    1 cup nonfat millk
    You may also add a can of creamed corn instead of whole kernel corn, but this will also affect the calories.
    Add salt and pepper to taste.
    A pinch of dried and crushed celery leaves is good, too!
    You might also like to add a pinch of cumin.

Directions

Add corn soup mix to 800ml (4 cups) cold water. Then add 200 ml (one cup) nonfat milk.
Bring to boil, then turn down heat to simmer.
Simmer until thickens (about 10 minutes).
Add drained can of sweet corn.
Add salt, pepper, celery powder, or hot pepper flakes according to your desire.
Serve piping hot!

Makes five 1-cup servings.
