Ingredients

    1 lb. lean ground beef, browned&rinsed
    2-3 servings whole wheat rotini, cooked
    2 med. carrots, chopped
    2 ribs celery, chopped
    1 med. onion, chopped
    5 tsp. beef bouillon
    1 can diced tomatoes
    1 can corn, drained
    1 tsp. fresh minced garlic
    1 tsp. each: basil, oregano, rosemary
    1/2 tsp. each: thyme, fennel seed
    1/4 tsp. black pepper
    1 bay leaf
    8 cups water

Directions

Brown the ground beef over med-high heat, rinse and drain. Put all ingredients except pasta in slow cooker, cook on high 3-4 hours (until carrots are tender). Add pasta, cook for 1/2 hour more. Serve with grated parmesan cheese. Makes 12-16 servings.
