Tasty little smothered steaks, done quick and easy - only 5 ingredients! Creamy mushroom soup adds a decadent flavor, and minced fresh onion and herbs instead of onion soup seasoning keeps the sodium levels low. Ingredients

1 lb. ground turkey
1 can 98% fat free cream of mushroom soup
1 tsp. fresh thyme
onion, finely minced
salt & pepper (optional/to taste)
Directions
Mince fresh onion, about 1/2 cup. Mix onion, thyme, salt and pepper with ground turkey.
Form into thick patties, and place in glass baking dish.
Bake at 350 for 10 minutes. Remove from oven, pour mushroom soup over patties, cover with foil, and return to oven for 15 minutes or until turkey patties are done and mushroom soup is hot and melted.
Delicious when served over mashed potatoes, with the mushroom gravy over everything!
Makes 4 4-oz. servings.
