Submitted by: GREENLEE25

Introduction

Yum, yum! Yum, yum!
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    3/4 cup rolled oats
1/4 cup each whole wheat and white all purpose flour
    1 Tbsp baking powder
    1/4 tsp salt
    1/2 Tbsp ground cinnamon
1/8 cup Splenda Blend for Baking
    1 1/4 cups whipping cream
2 1/2 small ripe bananas, sliced thinly
Whipping cream or milk for brushing
Brown sugar and ground cinnamon, for sprinkling

Directions

Preheat oven to 450F.

Combine the oats, flours, baking powder, salt, sugar blend, and cinnamon in bowl of stand mixer. Add the cream and sliced bananas, mixing until just combined.

Drop by large spoonfuls onto ungreased baking sheet. Brush tops with cream/milk and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon if desired. Bake in preheated oven for 15 minutes.

Remove from oven and let sit on baking sheet for a few minutes (the scones will be quite fragile and may fall apart if you try to remove them before they are fully cooled.)

Makes 12 scones.
