Flaxseed Hermit Cookies

Introduction

Good source of Omega 3 and 6 Good source of Omega 3 and 6
Number of Servings: 28

Ingredients

    1/2c butter or margarine
    1/2 c brown sugar
    2 lg eggs
    1/4c molasses
    1 tsp vanilla
    1 1/2 c whole wheat flour
    1 cup instant oats
    1/2c flax meal
    1/2 tsp each of cinnomon, nutmeg, and salt
    1/2 c dried craisins or raisins
    1/2 c slivered almonds

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 F and lightly spray baking sheet or use parchment paper
Cream togather butter, sugar, eggs molasses and vanilla.
Combine the dry ingredients in a seperate bowl and then mix into wet mix.
Add craisins and almonds.
Drop onto cookie sheet by the tablespoon 1 1/2 inches apart.
Bake for 10-12 min or until firm to touch.
Cool and enjoy

Makes 28 cookies if measured out by tablespoon
