I used a 24 mini muffin pan. I used a little olive oil to wet the wontons. I put them in the mini cups and I baked them a few minutes till brown. I left them open like little pockets. Ifilled them and baked about 6 minutes more. The were great. pawleysgirl - 1/19/09

This recipe looks unhealthy... 4 g of fat for 2 wantons! No thanks on that bridge to nowhere. Good job on everyone else's suggestions to make this better though! sub turkey instead of pork; bake steam or boil, not fry; add fiber in the form of vegetables; use egg whites only. - 4/26/10

I make these quite a bit, for parties, or just for a fun easy snack. Try adding some fresh ginger and substitue ground turkey for the pork. An easy quick dipping sauce: soy sauce, mint jelly, sesame oil and a dash of hot chili oil or hot sauce.

its good but I left out the pinch of salt. Soy sauce is very salty and you really don't need that pinch. Olive oil is best but cannola can be used. - 1/3/08

I make potstickers with almost an identical recipe. The only big difference is that I pan fry them in a small amount of oil until just they begin to brown, then I throw in some low sodium broth to cover the bottom of the pan and put on the lid. Then they just steam for 2 mins, adding to the flavor - 7/7/08
