Oven Baked Onion Rings

Introduction

A family favorite. Also is wonderful with cauliflower. A family favorite. Also is wonderful with cauliflower.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    2 medium Onions, cut into 1/2 inch rings
    1/2 cup dry Bread crumbs
    1/2 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp red pepper
    2 Tbs butter, melted
    2 egg whites, slightly beaten

Directions

Preheat oven to 450 d. In large bowl, mix bread crumbs, salt, red pepper, and butter. Mix thouroughly. In second bowl, slightly beat egg whites. Dip onion rings into egg, then into bread crumb mixture. Place on baking sheet. Bake for 12- 15 minutes.

Makes 4 servings.
