Turkey Noodle Chili

Introduction

This is a thrown together chili I made one night for my fiance and I. It was super fast and easy. The sodium is really high b/c I used a taco seasoning b/c we were out of chili powder. This is a thrown together chili I made one night for my fiance and I. It was super fast and easy. The sodium is really high b/c I used a taco seasoning b/c we were out of chili powder.
Number of Servings: 8

Ingredients

    1 lb. ground turkrey (93% lean)
    1 can chili beans
    1 can kidney beans
    1 can diced tomatoes (w/ green peppers and onions)
    1 can tomato paste
    1/2 pkg. hot & spicy taco seasoning
    2 c. whole-wheat elbow macaroni (dry)
    1/2 c. water

Directions

1. Spray a skillet with cooking spray and brown turkey. While you are browning the turkey. Boil the water for the noodles and cook the noodles.

2. Once the turkey is brown, add the 2 cans of beans, the tomoatoes, and the tomato paste. Simmer.

3. Mix the taco seasoning with the 1/2 c. water and pour into the the meat mixture. Once everything is mixed well, add the cooked noddles.

Makes 8 servings
