Tomato Vegetable Sauce

Introduction

Combine with any meat & pasta or rice Combine with any meat & pasta or rice
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    1 large onion, chopped
    3 garlic cloves, minced
    1 - 28 oz can diced tomatoes
    1 - 5.5 oz can tomato paste
    2 cups zucchini, chopped
    2 peppers, any color, chopped
    1 tsp basil
    1 tsp oregano
    1 tsp dried parsley
    1/2 tsp sugar
    1/4 tsp pepper
    1 small bay leaf

Directions

1. Spray a pot with non stick spray. Saute onion and garlic over medium heat, stirring frequently until onion is golden.
2. Add remaining ingredients and bring to a boil.
3. Reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.
4. Serve over cooked pasta or rice.
