Bacon Wrapped Scallops

Ingredients

24 large scallops
12 slices of bacon sliced in half
12 waterchesnuts sliced in half
Marinade:
4 Tbsp. soy sauce
1/2 tsp. ground ginger
1 packet sugar substitute (like splenda)
Directions
Slice waterchesnuts in half.
Place one scallop on top of a waterchesnut.
Wrap to bind with 1/2 slice of bacon.
Secure with tooth pick.
Mix together soy sauce, ginger, and splenda.
Preheat oven to broil.
Pour over wrapped scallops to marinate for 10 minutes.
Broil 6-10 minutes on broiler rack,
or until bacon is crispy, turning once
during cooking.
