Pork Sausage Gravy I can have!

Introduction

Can't give up sausage gravy forever! So I make it as healthy as possible for a once in a while breakfast treat Can't give up sausage gravy forever! So I make it as healthy as possible for a once in a while breakfast treat
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    6 oz Jimmy Dean Reduced Fat Pork Sausage (Half a roll)
    2.5 Cups skim milk
    4 Tablespoons Flour
    Dash of salt
    .5 teaspoon pepper (more if you like it spicier)
    6 slices whole wheat bread.

Directions

Spray pan with non-stick spray. Brown pork sausage and crumble. Stir in flour till meat is coated and brown an additional minute. Add milk. Stir occassionally till thick. Add dash of salt and pepper.
Meantime, toast wheat bread.
Cut up one piece of toast and pour over 1/2 cup gravy.
Save left overs in fridge for a quick morning breakfast. Make the toast, nuke the gravy, eat and go!
