8 oz Beef sirloin, cooked & cubed
3 large celery stalks chopped
2 large carrots, sliced into circles
5 cloves of garlic, slice thinly
1 large Mushroom, chopped
2 Medium potatoes, diced
1.5 cups Barley, pearled, raw
1 cup Campbell's Beef Broth (fat free low salt)
3/4 cup pepsi
1 tsp President's Choice Sea Salt & Black , Peppercorns, ground
4 cups water
My husband is a newfy that talk himself to cook in order to feed his younger siblings when his parents separated. He's done very well & everyone likes his soups especially this one. He will even add left over vegetables and calls it Got-to-Go Vegetable, Beef & Barley soup.
