Ingredients

27 oz can of whole tomatoes pureed in blender
    1 tbsp olive oil
2 cloves of garlic finely diced or put through garlic press
    1 tsp ground oregano
    2 tsp dried basil
    1 tsp ground thyme
    1/2 tsp dried rosemary
1 tsp dried red pepper flakes

Directions

In a deep sauce pan heat olive oil. Add garlic and dried herbs and lightly sautee for just a minute or so (this helps bring out the flavor of the dried herbs). Add the pureed or crushed tomatoes. Lower heat to a simmer and simmer for 30 minutes or longer.

Put 1/2 cup of sauce over pasta of choice. You may add turkey or lean beef meatballs if you wish.
