Shrimp Chowder

Introduction

Yummy warm take on chowder. Yummy warm take on chowder.
Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    Shrimp, cooked, 6 oz - 10 oz
    Zucchini, 1 cup, cut
    Green or red bell peppers, 1 cup, chopped
    *Margarine, 2 tsp
    Milk, 1%, 4 cups
    Salt 1/4 tsp
    Pepper, black 1/8th tsp
    Low fat cream cheese 3 0z. cut up
    Thyme, ground, 1 tsp
    Flour, white, all-purpose, flour 2 tbls
    Green onions 2 tbls

Directions

Cook Shrimp
Cook zucchini and pepper in margarine for 3 minutes. Add flour stir. Add milk, green onion, and all seasonings. Cook until think end and boiling. Add cream cheese until melted. *Add shrimp and thyme until warmed threw. Blend in blender only for 5 OR 6 pulses.
* If you like the shrimp to be bite size don't add them until after you blend the other Ingredients.

Makes 4 servings of 5 cups
