Ingredients

1.5 lb beef chuck roast chopped into bite size pieces
1 large onion diced
2 cups carrots diced
6 medium stalks celery diced
6 red potatoes chopped
7 oz can of diced green chiles roasted & peeled
2 cups lentils, rinsed and drained
8 tsp McCormick Beef Base
8 cups water
1 bay leaf
1 tsp smoked paprika
2 tsp rosemary
Directions
makes 12 1-cup servings
chop and brown meat, set aside
chop carrot, celery, onion, potato place in slow cooker
add meat
rinse and drain lentils add to pot
add 8 to 10 cups water
add 8 tsp McCormick Beef base
add 1 tsp smoked paprika
add 2 tsp rosemary
add 1 bay leaf
cook on high for six hours, remove bay leaf before serving.
