Ingredients

1 1/2 c of brown rice-cook according to directions.
1 lg. onion (diced)
2 lg. cloves garlic (diced)
1 tsp basil or fresh (a few)
1/4 tsp oregano & 1 tsp bl. pepper
4 oz of sliced fresh mushrooms
2 c of frozen peas (cook according)
1 lg can of crushed tomatoes OR 1 jar of bertolli tomato & basil sauce
1/4 c red wine
Directions
Cook rice & peas.Saute onion, garlic in OL.oil 2 min. Add mushrooms to onion, saute 3 min. Add peas, saute 3 min/W/mushrooms. Add sauce, wine, pepper/w/mushrooms & peas. Bring to boil, low flame.Simmer 20 min.stir. When done add rice/w/sauce in lg bowl., mix.Top/w/ romano/Or/parmesano cheese
