Homemade Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal

Number of Servings: 4

Ingredients

    3 C. water
    2 medium apples, chopped
    1-1/2 C. Old Fashioned Oatmeal
    dash salt
    1/4 C. packed brown sugar
    1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp vanilla extract

Directions

1. Bring the water to a boil over medium heat. Add apples, oatmeal and salt; cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally

2. Remove from heat and stir in brown sugar, cinnamon and vanilla. Cover and let sit for 2 minutes.

3. Makes 4 servings
