Introduction

this is a philippine recipe which my family just loves you can use pork or even beef in place of the chicken this is a philippine recipe which my family just loves you can use pork or even beef in place of the chicken
Number of Servings: 6

Ingredients

    16 oz chuck steak sliced thin
    1 cup soy sauce
    3 tblsp brown sugar blend
    6 cloves garlic
    1/4 cup lemon juice
    1/2 cup diet sprite
    1/2 cup minced green onions or yellow onion finely minced
    1/2 cup ketchup ( I use banana ketchup)

Directions

mix all ingredients together except beef taste for flavoring if you prefer can add additional sugar for more sweetness

add BEEF and let marinate at least 30 minutes preferably 3-4 hours

remove from marinade and skewer I skewer at least 8

grill until cooked

serve 2 skewers per peson

SPECIAL NOTE: FOR CALCULATION PURPOSES I PUT SERVING 6 BECAUSE THE MARINADE ONLY FLAVORS YOU END UP WITH 3/4 LEFT WHICH YOU CAN BOIL AND THICKEN AS A DIPPING SAUCE AND THEREFORE COUNT I JUST TOSS SO THE CALORIES ARE LESS THAN LISTED AS SERVING OF 4 CALCULATION
