Pineapple Chili

Introduction

Yum!! If it's not spicy enough, add a bit Tapatío Sauce for the perfect pick-me-up!! Yum!! If it's not spicy enough, add a bit Tapatío Sauce for the perfect pick-me-up!!
Number of Servings: 12

Ingredients

    1 lb lean ground beef or 1 lb (ground) Italian Sausage
    1 Green pepper diced
    1 Red pepper diced
    1 Orange or Yellow pepper diced
    1/2 Large Sweet Onion diced
    8 oz pkg. sliced mushrooms
    1 (20oz) can crushed tomatoes
    2 cans (14.5 oz.) drained dark red kidney beans
    2 cans (std small can) crushed pineapple, drained
    4 Tbsp chili powder
    6 Cloves Pressed Garlic
    Basil & oregano to taste

Directions

Brown meat, drain off grease. Add to Slow Cooker with all other ingredients. Cook on low for 8 hours. Makes 12 (1 cup) servings. May garnish with cheese. Calculated with the Pork Sausage, but not with the cheese.
