IntroductionFull of fiber & flavor, also low glucimic/low carb. Just as good Hot or Cold. Full of fiber & flavor, also low glucimic/low carb. Just as good Hot or Cold.
6 apples, peeled,cored & sliced thinly.
1/4 c. craisins,dates or raisins (optional)
1 Tbsp of sugar or Splenda
1 Tbsp of cinnamon
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. Pecans (or Walnuts), crushed or chopped (optional)
3/4 c. of melted butter/olive oil
2 metal pie pans,1 large mixing bowl,sharp knife,lcutting board,arge mixing spoon,measuring cups/spoons,large spoon for dipping & spreading flour mix.
Mix -apples,craisins,pecans/walnutsSplenda/sugar,cinnamon together till well coated. Place mixture into pie pans, arranging in a circular pattern.
Mix- remaining ingredients together until thickened, gently spoon & spread over apple mixture to cover.
Bake at 325* for 60 minutes. Time varies according to ripeness of apples & oven temp. Serve warm or cold topped with ice cream or whipped topping. Left Overs make a great fast breakfast, just crumble over Cottage Cheese!
