Whole Wheat Molasses BreadSubmitted by: BJMOOMEY
IntroductionMay be done in bread machine as well. May be done in bread machine as well.
4 c. whole wheat flour
1 Tbsp. yeast dissolved in 2 Tbsp. cool water.
1 1/3 c. lukewarm water
1/4 c. blackstrap molasses
1/4 c. olive oil
1/4 c. nonfat dry milk powder
1 1/4 tsp. salt
Punch down. Shape into loaf and place in 8 1/2"x4" lightly greased or sprayed pan. Let rise till 1" above pan (30-60 minutes).
Bake at 350 for 20 minutes. Tent lightly with foil. Bake another 20 minutes or until done. (Bottom of loaf will sound hollow when tapped.)
Remove from pan. Let cool. Slice into 16 fairly thin slices.
