IntroductionThese are really good. You could substitute 1/2 the white flour with whole wheat to make it healthier. These are really good. You could substitute 1/2 the white flour with whole wheat to make it healthier.
*Flour, white, 1 cup
Baking Powder, 1 tsp
Baking Soda, .5 tsp
Buttermilk, lowfat, 1 cup
I Can't Believe It's Not Butter, Light Spread 4 Tbsp melted
Egg, fresh, 1 large lightly beaten
Add the buttermilk, margarine and egg.
Mix well and pour about 2/3 to 3/4 cup of mixture onto a preheated and oiled waffle griddle.
Cook until done.
This should make three 7 inch waffles.
